Ever since I can remember, I've had a deep interest & connection with the great outdoors. Whether it was forging trails in the woods behind my home (in Minnesota) or exploring the surrounding countryside, I have always felt a sense of wonderment & excitement. As a youngster, I had the great opportunity to travel & see many parts of the world including Europe, India, & Africa. Needless to say, I was beyond excited. The travel bug was in me for good! Photographing landscapes & wildlife was my entry point into the world of photography, and It has taken me to some of the most beautiful places in the world and has enabled me to experience many places, cultures, & events beyond imagination. Over the past few years, I have found myself drawn to the world of people & portraiture. I am truly in place I never thought I would be and I'm having the time of my life! Though I will always be striving to challenge myself & my photography, Nature has taught me one very important lesson, and that is to appreciate everything from the small & intricate to the broad & vast.
